There will be two separate sessions offered, one in June and one in July. Sessions are NOT correlated with one another.
Summer Session 1: June 16-18 and 23-25
- Preschool/Kinder Camp 10:30-11:30am – This camp is designed to give your Preschool/Kinder aged child a little taste of dance & further their dance abilities. Your child will learn a little Ballet, Creative Movement, and Tap. Your child will learn to keep rhythm, balance with Ballet, & different ways to move with Creative Movement. They will also learn various beginner tap steps. This camp compliments Ohana Dance Company’s Preschool and Kinder Tap/Ballet combo classes. Your child will learn a short dance to perform for you the last day, last 10 minutes of class. Dress Code: Tank top or tee shirt or leotard, shorts or skort, socks, Ballet shoes , Tap shoes. Hair: pulled up away from the face (ponytail(s) or braid(s) or bun). We do have a very limited stock of used ballet shoes and tap shoes to borrow if need be. Cost for camp is $100.00/session (two weeks)
- Ballet Camp 5:00-6:30pm – This camp is designed for ballet students age 6+. This camp will allow students to work on and learn ballet technique; however, no prior dance experience is required. Students will learn a short dance that will be shown in the last 10 minutes, last day of class for you to watch. Dress code: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes, hair in bun. Cost for camp is $150.00/session (two weeks)
Summer Session 2: July 14-16 and 21-23
